Out this summer in Policy Studies, Elizabeth Bomberg and Alice Hague’s article examines faith-based actors and their distinctive role as ‘climate intermediaries’ – ‘go-betweens’ linking policymakers and their policy targets.
Using the example of Christian groups in Scotland, Hague and Bomberg show how faith-based groups can aggregate specific theological knowledge and translate it into a powerful, general moral imperative for climate action.
