Esther Egele-Godswill's research focuses on oil infrastructures and people's everyday life across oil-rich African communities. Esther's project explores how the continuous presence of oil pipelines as a permanent feature of the environment and their material failure through illegal bunkering activities in Nigeria's Niger Delta shapes and restructures social relationships, imaginations, and understandings of the present and future realities.
