Profile

Ramsey Affifi is a Lecturer in Science (Biology) and Environmental Philosophy Education. His research spans across boundaries: science and art, human and nonhuman, heart and head, to synthesize new ways of thinking about and doing education. More specifically, he explores philosophical approaches to understanding and engaging in sustainability pedagogies; creating outdoor transdisciplinary STEAM curricula; the educational challenges of emotionally/existentially complicated issues; contemplative approaches to education; and critical technological literacy.
